The journey towards your first solo exhibition takes off here!
GOING SOLO is a six-part online conversation series designed to prepare new and emerging artists for their first solo exhibition.
With the help of a different guest artist each week, we’ll teach you everything you need to know about exhibiting at a gallery for the first time – from getting started and navigating art spaces, to finding the right medium and discovering the joy of being yourself through your practice.

Wednesday night from October 7 to November 11 via Google Meet.
All our guest artists are from migrant and/or refugee backgrounds, and bring a wealth of both artistic and life experience to the conversation. They work across commercial arts, digital arts, performing arts, multimedia, illustration, painting, photography, sculpture and more.
You will also have the opportunity to connect with other participants and share any ideas or questions you have through a private Facebook group.
If you’ve ever thought about having your own solo exhibition, our conversation series will give you the skills, knowledge and confidence to take the next step.
This workshop is open to people of all ages.
